In museum environment，the development and application of digital technology has been playing a leading role in the global museum community，and in China in particular. The current paper reviews its development in the past five years，and in this context，the paper discusses the dynamic relation and the interaction between museums and museum visitors in the manner intended by the two groups separately. It argues，in the end，that the application of digital technology in museum is still at a very early stage，which may have to be handled and managed in a very careful manner.
