In the new era，China’s emergency management standardization is facing hitherto unknown opportunities and challenges. The state has paid more attention to the field of public safety and emergency management，and has brought a new round of technological revolution and COVID-19’s emergency management standardization. However，compared with the development of emergency management in the new era，there are still some imperfect standards. There are many problems and challenges，such as the lack of connection with laws and regulations，the lack of standards，the lack of international standardization level，the insufficient support of science and technology informatization，and the lack of guarantee of talents and funds. Based on the current situation of standardization work and the opportunities and challenges it faces，this report puts forward suggestions for the next step，mainly including improving the standardization mechanism，strengthening the connection with laws and regulations，improving the level of international informatization，training standardization talents and improving the level of funding guarantee.
