In-car listening ceased to grow in 2020 as the Covid-19 pandemic prevention measures took their toll while the listening minutes at home increased. The communication value of radio media continued to grow as the audience’s income was increased. Local radio stations were leading in the local market with direct competitions sustained between the provincial stations and the city stations. Those stations and programs specializing in news report usually had higher ratings in the peak hours in the morning and the evening.
