Rural culture is an important manifestation of the uniqueness of the countryside and an intrinsic driving force to sustain the comprehensive development of the countryside. Rural cultural revitalization is not only an inevitable requirement of the construction of a new socialist countryside and a harmonious society，but also an effective way to show the vitality，charm and value of the countryside as well as the soft power to promote the overall revitalization of rural areas. This paper analyzes in depth the connotation，modern values and recession root cause of rural culture. Based on the practice of Shandong Province，this paper studies the inheritance and revitalization path of rural culture under the strategy of rural revitalization. Such three paths as inheritance，development and enhancement of excellent traditional culture，rural cultural restructuring led by socialist core values and rural cultural revitalization with rural tourism as the carrier are proposed with a view to providing practical reference and guidance for rural cultural revitalization in Shandong Province.
