A survey of 116014 adults shows that 99.9% of them agree with the importance of family，99.7% agree that everyone should love one’s country and one’s home；96.9% think that domestic virtues include respect for the old，care for the young，loving to one’s children，filial piety and sibling harmony；99.3% agree that good family traditions have a positive effect on the whole social atmosphere；97.8% think that the socialist core values are the core of building family civilization and should be implemented to the full in everyday life；99.7% agree that family education should attach importance to moral education and foster character of good virtues；89.5% believe that the primary cause of family disputes is lack of sense of responsibility；87.3% believe that every family member should contribute to family building. Respondents strongly agree that women play a unique role in family life. 87.1% agree with the important role of women’s federations in family building. The domestic services that the respondents urgently need are：a support system for community-based senior care，policies on family building，more nurseries and nursing homes，and outsourcing the housework.
