The connectivity of transportation facilities between Guangzhou and its Surrounding cities is an important support for the implementation of the national strategy of building the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and an important starting point for cultivating five modern metropolitan areas in Guangdong. With the support of the interconnection of transportation facilities，Guangzhou and Foshan have become a national model，but there are still shortcomings in the connection of transportation between Guangzhou and other surrounding cities. Based on the in-depth analysis of the current construction situation and existing problems，and the judgment of the future development trend，this paper puts forward the differentiated layout strategy of the corridor connecting with the surrounding cities，so as to meet the development demands of different levels of regions，metropolitan areas and border areas，and promote the construction of transportation facilities between Guangzhou and surrounding cities and enhance the level of interconnection.
