Science and technology services include research and experimental development，professional technology services，science and technology promotion and application services. The on-site investigation and questionnaire survey on Scientific Research and Technical Services are conducted by the research group，involving 91 sciences and technology service enterprises and 2 science and technology parks in Guangzhou. Combined with the statistical data of science and technology service industry above Designated Size in 2020，the research group deeply analyzed the development status of science and technology service industry in Guangzhou，found that there were unbalanced development of the industry，less leading enterprises in science and technology，the fund-raising Channel of research and development is relatively limited，the conversion rate of scientific and technological achievements needs to be improved，the relatively insufficient introduction of high-end talents，the epidemic situation and trade disputes increase the operating pressure and other prominent problems.Meanwhile，Guangzhou was compared with Beijing，Shanghai，Tianjin，Chongqing and Shenzhen here to find the gap and make up for the short board，while learn from the experience of advanced cities in the development of science and technology service industry. The paper puts forward the suggestions for optimization：in the short term，Guangzhou should promote the growth in the short term，focus on promoting the independent legal person of the research departments of large enterprises，making the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements through the way of detailed development by different industries；promote development for a long time，and focus on promoting the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay international scientific and technological innovation center，establishing and improving the mechanism for the transformation of innovation and scientific and technological achievements，and creating a high-quality business environment.
