2019年，粤东西北12个地级市的外贸总额在广东的占比仅为4。5%。粤东西北的外贸依存度仅为15%左右，不但远低于珠三角的水平，而且只有全国平均水平的一半左右。针对粤东西北外贸不够发达、广东外贸发展存在巨大的区域不平衡这一问题，在对广东外贸发展区域不平衡成因分析的基础上，提出了加快粤东西北外贸发展、促使广东外贸区域平衡发展的思路及相关政策建议，如完善粤东粤西粤北基础设施建设，打造粤东、粤西沿海地区重化工业的生产和出口基地，营造粤东、粤北和粤西外贸发展一系列平台等。
<<In 2019，the total foreign trade of 12 cities in Eastern，Western，and Northern Guangdong accounted for only 4.5% of the total foreign trade in Guangdong. The degree of dependence on foreign trade in Eastern，Western，and Northern Guangdong is only about 15%，which is not only far lower than the level of the Pearl River Delta，but also only about half of the national average. In view of the huge regional imbalance in Guangdong’s foreign trade，based on the analysis of the causes of the regional imbalance in Guangdong’s foreign trade，this report proposes to speed up the development of foreign trade in the Eastern，Western，and Northern Guangdong. Thoughts and policy suggestions to promote the regional balanced development of Guangdong foreign trade are given as followed.
