This article discusses the basic creative concept and documentary features of Nippon Hoso Kyokai （NHK） documentaries in 2019. Classify it and find that it mainly focuses on the following four aspects：focus figures，domestic society and people’s livelihood，international society and Chinese history. From the perspective of the documentary，the NHK documentary in 2019 has the characteristics of younger audiences，Japanese content style，slow narrative rhythm and civilian，simple language.
