Although Shenzhen is the youngest first-tier city，it is estimated that by 2027，the 60-year-old population will reach about 10%. To this end，Shenzhen has launched the “1336” system of elderly care services with Shenzhen’s characteristics，known as a new model of “urban elderly care” that opens up the last meter of elderly care services. The main features of this model are to practice innovative old-age care service models，establish a perfect home-based community institution old-age care ecosystem，develop a smart old-age care cloud platform，build the foundation for future old-age care services，practice the co-cultivation of the old and the young，and establish an old-age care based on social old-age care. The new model promoted the introduction of Shenzhen’s pension policy，benefiting the people.
