Based on the actual situation in Nanning city and analyzing its achievements in the agricultural and rural development，this report explored the new pattern and new paths to develop modern agriculture and construct beautiful countryside in Nanning and，from aspects like to improve the quality of characteristic agriculture and stimulate the vitality of rural development，put forward its overall goal of the modernization of agriculture and rural areas during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and the implementation paths for its agricultural and rural high-quality development，including to implement action of focusing on the quality of agricultural products to promote the high-quality development of agriculture，to constantly optimize the environment to improve the level of livability in rural areas，to speed up the construction of rural civilization and a new culture in rural areas，to improve rural governance capacity to promote harmonious development of countryside，to accelerate the development of social undertakings to enhance people’s livelihood and well-being，to deepen agricultural and rural reform to stimulate development vitality，to strengthen agricultural and rural infrastructure construction to support the high-quality development，and to consolidate the achievements of poverty eradication and continue to implement Rural Revitalization Strategy.
