The integration of urban and rural development is the inevitable requirement of realizing the common prosperity of urban and rural areas and promoting the modernization construction. Compared with urban areas，the income of rural residents in the Pearl River-Xijiang River Economic Belt has been increasing，but there is still a big gap. At present，the Pearl River-Xijiang River Economic Belt to achieve urban-rural integration development mainly faces the difficulties of urban and rural industrial integration，the two-way flow of urban and rural resource elements is not smooth，the regional internal development is unbalanced，the rural infrastructure construction is backward，and the rural ecological environment construction is weak. Based on the difficulties，we can promote the development of urban-rural integration in the economic belt from the aspects of promoting the integration of urban and rural industries，improving the system and mechanism，implementing the strategy of regional coordinated development，strengthening the construction of rural infrastructure，and making up for the shortcomings of rural ecological environment.
