Six years since the implementation of Pearl River-Xijiang River Economic Belt Development Plan，the economic belt （Guangxi section） has achieved positive results in aspects like the comprehensive strength of agriculture，the development of advantageous characteristic industries，agricultural parks and brand building. Meanwhile，the high-quality development of agriculture still faces many restrictive factors such as that the pressure on the production of grain and important agricultural products is high，that the level of processing agricultural products is low，that the supporting services of industry need to be perfected，that the promotion of high-quality agricultural machinery and equipment is difficult，and that regional cooperation needs to be strengthened. Under the new development pattern of domestic big cycle as the main body，and domestic and international double cycle promoting mutually，the economic belt （Guangxi section） should make efforts to promote the high-quality development of agriculture in the 14th Five-Year Plan of the economic belt through strengthening the organizational leadership，developing high-quality and efficient agriculture，strengthening modern agricultural development platforms，intensifying support systems，emphasizing quality of agricultural products，improving agricultural management and service systems，and optimizing regional coordination and cooperation.
