The modernization of regional innovation governance system and its governance capacity is an important content of the modernization of China’s national governance system and governance capacity. With the continuous advancement of governance practice，China’s regional innovation governance shows significant evolution characteristics in its development process，which is mainly reflected in four aspects：space，organization，connotation and ecology. This report makes an in-depth elaboration from these four aspects in order to sort out the evolution characteristics of China’s regional innovation governance，so as to provide reference for identifying the development direction and grasping the key work points in the future regional innovation governance.
