The COVID-19 has a significant impact on China’s economy and labor market. Hundreds of millions of migrant workers who need return to work are seriously affected. According to the investigation，in different stages of the development of the epidemic，different industries and enterprises have different impacts on the employment of migrant workers. The Chinese Government has taken effective countermeasures to ensure the overall stability of the employment situation of migrant workers. In the new era，more effective policies and measures should be taken to promote the employment quality of migrant workers to a higher level.
