Based on the comparative analysis of indicators in various cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area such as the financial investment in education，the education funding per-student，the number of students per thousand population，and the student-teacher ratio in basic education. This article points out problems of the basic education of nine inland cities in the big bay area，such as the development level is low，inadequate education funds is outstanding phenomenon，there are big gaps in the level of basic education development between cities etc. And from preschool education，compulsory education，the ordinary high school education，the construction of teaching staff，summarizing and refining the big bay area basic education stage major policy initiatives，and put forward to development Suggestions such as solve kindergarten entrance difficult problem of core cities，solve unbalanced compulsory education，solve high school variety and characteristic development problem，continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation in basic education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area etc.
