Guangzhou focused on improving the quality of personnel training，deepening the connotation construction，taking the project construction as the guide，and strive to stimulate the endogenous power of the development of secondary vocational schools，so as to improve the development level of secondary vocational education and the ability to serve the regional economic and social development in 2019. However，in the face of higher level development needs in the new stage，there are still some problems in Guangzhou secondary vocational schools，such as insufficient school running conditions，unbalanced development of secondary and higher vocational schools，lack of supporting reform of production and education integration，lag of teaching staff construction mechanism and so on. Therefore，it is urgent for Guangzhou to carry out systematic reform in the aspects of basic ability of secondary vocational schools，talent training system linking secondary and higher vocational schools，the integration mechanism of industry and education and the construction of teaching staff，so as to further consolidate the basic status of secondary vocational education in Guangzhou.
