The main characteristics of economic performance in 2007 include eight aspects：the agricultural production grows steadily，industrial production has maintained relatively fast growth，investment in fixed assets increases quickly，the domestic market keeps growing rapidly，imports and exports increase substantially，consumer prices rise continuously，monetary credit still grow fast，and urban and rural residents get more tangible benefits. Macroeconomic regulation is strengthened and its effect gradually becomes apparent；while there are problems exist in the current economic operations：price increases too fast，and the development mode is inefficient. To outlook 2008，the environment for economic development is fairly good in general，but more efforts of macro-regulation are still needed.
