In May 2020，the Beijing Municipal Regulations on the Administration of Household Waste were officially implemented，and the Beijing garbage classification work achieved eight results of “six liters and two drops”，while the construction of household waste sorting facilities and systems continued to advance. Based on the current situation of Beijing garbage classification work，existing experience and difficulties，this paper proposes to provide reference for the smooth promotion of Beijing garbage classification by improving the participation of residents in classification and classification correctness，reducing the difficulty of residents’ garbage classification in many ways，and establishing a long-term supervision mechanism.
