英国共产党在100年历史当中，始终代表工人阶级的利益，为了推翻资本主义实现社会主义不断奋斗；积极参与国际共产主义运动，为全世界人民的解放运动贡献自己的力量。受各种因素的影响，英共在二战后不断分裂，并于1991年解散，1988年分裂出去的“晨星派”继承了英共的传统。1992年来，英共保持着较低水平上的稳定状态。英共党纲《英国走向社会主义的道路》推动了各国共产党探索符合本国国情的社会主义道路。
<<The Communist Party of Britain （CPB） has always represented the interests of the working class and made all efforts to overthrow capitalism and achieve socialism in its 100 years’ history. It was very active in international communist movement and made great contribution to the liberation movement of people all over the world. Due to various factors，the CPB continued to split after World War Ⅱ and was dissolved in 1991. The party which broke away in 1988 inherited the legacy of the CPGB founded in 1920. The CPB has remained stable at a lower level since 1992. Its party programme “the British Road to Socialism” has an important influence on the communist parties of different countries.
