Homestay tourism has important significance for the impact of urban and rural residents’ lives. This study showed that there are significantly regional differences on the social life such has local living，family living，recreational living，communication living，security living，leisure living for rural and urban residents by homestay tourism. The regional differences of life level between rural and urban residents could be decreased with the development of homestay tourism so as to effectively solve the problems such as development unbalance and inefficient contradictory in the rural and urban areas. Regarding the regional differences of social life of rural and urban residents，the exact countermeasures could be taken in the social life such as local living，family living，recreational living，communication living，security living，and leisure living for rural and urban residents by homestay tourism. As a result，the homestay tourism could balance the life differences for urban and rural residents，by which homestay tourism could be one of the most well-being industries in order to satisfy the rural and urban residents. the demand and expectation for them beautiful life.
