Among the cities on the Yellow River，Kaifeng has her own uniqueness，lying on the middle of the Yellow River and appearing the marvelous spectacle of “hovering river” which can best show the unique natural scenery of the Yellow River. Suffering from floods of the Yellow River many times in history，Kaifeng was rebuilt on its original site after being flooded several times，forming the world wonder of “cities piled on cities”. As the core of the root of China and the source of the Yellow River civilization，Kaifeng is full of cultural heritages，especially the culture of the Song Dynasty，which can best reflect the peak of Chinese historical civilization. Holding the current historical opportunity，Kaifeng has strengthened government administration and planning design，highlighting demonstration and cultural landmark，attaching importance to investigation，research and display of the Yellow River culture. But some other aspects still need to be further improved，such as cultural taste，construction quality，display and exhibition，stories telling，integration between culture and tourism and industry development.
