The Yellow River culture is the root，backbone and the core of Chinese civilization which gave birth to the Yellow River spirit. Therefore，the Yellow River spirit is also the core spirit of Chinese nation. That it shows in all kinds of spirits of patriotism，fight，comprehensiveness and striving is just the condensation of wisdom accumulated for thousands of years by Chinese nation. Preserving，inheriting and carrying forward the cultural spirit of the Yellow River is a huge and complex project. However，we are not very clear of the urgency and the gravity. We haven’t collected and sorted enough cultural heritage resources and we haven’t put enough effort on the Yellow River industry. All the problems above require us to strengthen the research on the Yellow River culture，on the historical archaeology，on the Yellow River ideology and culture spirit，on the resource integration and agglomeration，and on the industrial expression of the Yellow River culture spirit.
