Pushing forward the clean countryside construction has been a major decision for Hangzhou Central Party Committee in implementing the policy of extending comprehensive strict Party self-governance down to the grassroots level by the CPC Central Committee，as well as an innovative measure in promoting clean Zhejiang Construction and grassroots level governance of CPC ZheJiang Provincial Committee. Taking Hangzhou as an example，this paper making an analysis of the background of developing a clean countryside and systematically summarizing the experiences and achievements in practice over the past years，namely the “multiple pillars” to construct the clean rural areas was conducted，which has made consistent and overriding progress in anti-corruption. Moreover，the standardized construction of grassroots DIS organizations has been actively carried out，and a number of exemplary bases have been cultivated，presenting the clean rural construction experience with Hangzhou local characteristics and recognition. Meanwhile，three pairs of “contradictions” existing in the process of promoting clean rural construction have been analyzed with objectivity. It is recommended that the following four aspects should be focused in next step：respectively，to further play the role of goal lead in promoting the high quality development of the clean countryside construction；to strengthen the construction of “three zero” mechanism in accurate grasp of the dialectical relationship in order to improve the scientific effectiveness in addressing both symptoms and root causes；to deepen DIS reform of developing the standardization and professionalization of the work in grassroots DIS departments；and to facilitate the construction of the grassroots DIS cadre team，cultivating incorruptible “warriors” with loyalty and building a positive cycle of political ecosystem of a clean countryside that can be publicized and popularized.
