The outbreak of COVID-19 has a great impact and challenges on the G20 cooperation mechanism，which also exposed the limitations of the cooperation，intensified the differences in cooperation concepts，undermined the stability of industrial chain cooperation，promoted unilateralism and anti-globalization trends，and highlighted the lack of coordination experience. However，the pandemic has also provided new opportunities for the development and transformation of G20 cooperation. China has made active efforts to promote G20 cooperation in fighting against COVID-19 and contributed wisdom and experience to the transformation of G20 cooperation and development. In the post-pandemic era，the priority areas of G20 cooperation will focus more on tapping economic growth drivers，addressing weak links，strengthening solidarity，boosting confidence，promoting innovation and improving governance effectiveness.
