The goal of the future development of China’s sports industry was to cultivate a group of innovative talents in the sports industry. Vigorously promoting innovation and entrepreneurship education was the future development direction of sports education. With the rapid development of the sports industry in China，the Chinese government vigorously promoted innovation and entrepreneurship education to create opportunities for the development of innovation and entrepreneurship education in the sports industry in colleges and universities. As for the development of innovation and entrepreneurship education in the sports industry in colleges and universities，although outstanding construction results have been achieved in the development of education and the construction of innovative service platforms，there were still deficiencies in the construction of teaching staff，reform of teaching methods，and optimization of management services. To comprehensively deepen the innovation and entrepreneurship education reform of the sports industry in colleges and universities，and to enhance the innovation and entrepreneurship development capabilities of college students in the sports industry，it was necessary to optimize the teaching staff，enrich the practice forms，integrate the curriculum system，create a double innovation atmosphere，reform the assessment system，improve service facilities，and build an ecosystem. The China’s innovation and entrepreneurship education would take the development path of construction of dual innovation curriculum system，establishment of sports industry specialty，popularization of sports industry dual innovation，and promotion of institutional network formation.
