In recent years，the country has attached great importance to the development of the cultural industry. Beijing has also strengthened its attention and support for the cultural and creative industry，and has issued a series of policies on the cultural and creative industry，which has greatly promoted the development of the cultural and creative industry in Beijing. Theories at home and abroad have found that the development of the cultural and creative industry has a significant role in promoting economic growth. This paper adopts an endogenous growth variable model and selects the time series data of the development indicators of the cultural and creative industries in Beijing from 1998 to 2017 and the domestic per capita GDP in Beijing. An empirical test of the cultural and creative industry’s contribution to Beijing’s economic growth shows that the per capita value-added of the cultural industry，per capita financial appropriation for cultural undertakings，and the number of cultural relic institutions are positively correlated with economic growth. The development of the industry has the greatest impact. Based on the investigation and analysis of the status quo of Beijing’s cultural and creative industries by industries and district counties，as well as the results of domestic and foreign theoretical analysis and empirical tests，combined with the integration of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei culture and the planning of Beijing’s construction of a “cultural center”，this paper proposes A series of targeted suggestions，such as，strengthening the coordinated development of cultural industries in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei，speeding up the consumption upgrade in the cultural field，strengthening the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements in the cultural field，and creating a good cultural and technological innovation atmosphere.
