Since 2015，Beijing has been focusing on adjusting and optimizing the industrial structure. A series of policy have taken measures，such as vacation of cages for birds. This article first reviews the process of Beijing’s industrial layout and structural adjustment in recent years，then studies the impact of industrial structure adjustment on Beijing’s economy and the trajectory of changes in the industrial structure，and finally takes ten high-precision industries as the entry point. On the whole，the high-end industries in the value chain represented by the top ten high-precision industries have all ushered in rapid development after industrial adjustments，and the pressure on industrial safety has plummeted. It can be seen that Beijing’s policy of vacating cages for birds has achieved good results，improving the safety of Beijing’s industries and promoting the development of high-precision industries.
