This chapter proposes the theoretical framework of the digital economy from the perspective of the innovative logic of the digital economy，refines the frontier topics and key scientific issues of the digital economy，and discusses the reform of the education and teaching mode of the digital economy major. It is believed that theoretical research of digital economy can focus on five aspects and their interrelations，namely，product adaptive innovation，big data cooperation assets，data as production factor，grid system and bureaucratic integration，and technology-contract-based adaptive governance innovation，and an integrated theoretical framework for the digital economy could be constructed accordingly. On the basis of the theoretical framework of digital economy，the frontier topics as well as the education and teaching mode of digital economy major are discussed.
