This case is based on the unique value of traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） in the case of non-effective drugs against new crown virus in western medicine，the concrete contribution of TCM in the process of fighting new crown pneumonia is analyzed，and the related policies of using Chinese medicine to prevent new crown virus pneumonia in 31 provinces/municipalities and autonomous regions are reviewed. In this paper，11 provinces/municipalities/autonomous regions with the first anti-epidemic policy of traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） in the top five were analyzed. It is believed that TCM has been deeply involved in the practice of fighting the pneumonia epidemic in Xinguan，which fully embodies the spiritual connotation of “inheriting essence and keeping integrity and innovation” of TCM.
