After nearly 30 years of exploration and development，Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area （hereinafter referred to as the “Development Area”） has become an important growth pole of the capital’s economic development，a high-end manufacturing industry and an industrial cluster of innovative achievements. As the main platform for Beijing to build an international science and technology innovation center，the Development Area is striving to build a high-end industry main position. According to the requirements of international vision and functional orientation in the new era，there are still some problems in the Development Zone，such as the gap between the quality and efficiency of economic development and the world’s top level，the level and level of international and open development to be improved，the lack of integration of high-tech manufacturing and producer services，and the need to deepen the overall management system and mechanism of the development zone，This paper puts forward some policy suggestions，such as actively attracting the headquarters of multinational science and technology enterprises and foreign R & D institutions to settle down，supporting the leading enterprises to lay out the industrial chain supply chain in Beijing and its surrounding areas，exploring the innovation of international opening policy and the reform of business environment.
