As a new way to innovate community governance，community voluntary service helps to solve the problem of insufficient participation in community governance and plays an important role in the formation of cooperative governance structure. However，at present，the quality of community volunteers is uneven，and the aging of community volunteers has become an important factor restricting the development of community volunteer service in China. Through participatory observation，the author intervenes in the renewal of volunteer service in n community in the form of project system. The research finds that the professional methods of community work have certain advantages and disadvantages in recruiting and training young volunteers and improving the ability of community volunteers. Although the project has achieved certain expected results，it has not effectively realized the expectation that young groups can be involved in the community volunteer service. The author reflects on the reality that the community volunteer service force has not been effectively updated，and then puts forward relevant suggestions on cultivating community volunteer service force renewal.
