To promote the information system 4.0 version of the people’s courts during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period，and build the knowledge-based smart court by the end of 2025，a series of tasks including conceptual change，plan design，practice verification，and execution optimization are on the way. To deepen the construction of smart court with knowledge as the center，it is necessary to realize the transformation of smart court construction from being centered on the Internet and data to knowledge based，making knowledge the core driving force for the modernization of the trial system and capabilities and making the judiciary more fair，just and authoritative. For the path of construction，the construction of judicial big data shall be strengthened to enhance the ability of data mining，the construction of judicial informatization shall be strengthened to enhance the ability of information fusion and the judicial knowledge map shall be built to cultivate the ability of knowledge discovery. Some beneficial exploration has been carried out in Chinese local courts such as Yantian People’s Court of Shenzhen，which is focused on consolidating the foundation of digitization and informatization，and innovating the construction mode. Similar fruitful local experiences shall be summarized and promoted in time. In the future，we shall put efforts in accelerating the construction of data mid-offices，realizing the integration of judicial information，and deeply applying knowledge map technology to build a more systematic，scientific and collaborative knowledge-driven smart court construction scheme.
