This report provides an in-depth analysis of the distribution of medical resources in the mainland of China，based on the GAHA’s competitiveness ranking data of Chinese and international hospitals，and combined with economic and demographic data of various regions in mainland China. The results show that the unbalanced distribution of medical resources in mainland China has not been broken. In the international ranking of hospital competitiveness，the influence of hospital ownership on hospital competitiveness is not completely consistent in different countries. The competitiveness of university affiliated hospitals is significantly higher than that of clinical hospitals.
