The UK has legislated to achieve zero carbon emissions by 2050，leading a modern industrial innovation for clean development mechanism. This report defines the idea of a “Hydrogen Economy” in South Yorkshire and analyses the visions and opportunities for the development in hydrogen energy production，storage and conversion. Also，this reports highlights the opportunities for “Hydrogen Economy” in industrial，heat supply and technological innovation fields in South Yorkshire. Moreover，we give enlightenments and suggestions for establishing the Hydrogen Economy in Yangtze river delta in China.
