Taking the high-quality development of manufacturing industry in three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta region as the research object，this paper tries to analyze the present situation and trend of high-quality development of manufacturing industry in the Yangtze River Delta region by measuring some indexes under five dimensions：innovation，coordination，green，openness and sharing，and tries to identify the possible problems and put forward policy suggestions：the situation of high-quality development of manufacturing industry in the Yangtze River Delta region is forming，but with the expansion of the integration space of the Yangtze River Delta region in 10 years，the problems of unbalanced and uncoordinated development of manufacturing industry between provinces and cities have become more prominent，To solve these problems，we need to reform the infrastructure，industrial structure，division of labor and the relationship between government and market.
