Promoting the integrated development of cultural and tourism industries is the only way to advance the culture and tourism，and it is also the major measure to enhance cultural self-confidence. From 2018 to 2019，Hubei Province has positively implemented the decisions and deployments of central organ restructuring，and speeded up the reform of cultural and tourism administrative systems. At present，we have gradually formed four modes in the practice of culture and tourism integration：museum exhibition mode，intangible heritage exhibition mode，life and culture in ancient town display mode，and CEEUSRO mode（cooperation education of enterprise，university and scientific research organization）. However，some problems also emerged in the process of cultural and tourism integration，such as singularity and skin-deepness of the programs conducted，inadequate basic implementation and the imbalance of regional development，etc. To tackle these issues，we continue to promote the integrated development of cultural and tourism in Hubei from such aspects as strengthening top-level design，overall planning of major projects，creating a product system of cultural tourism，developing characteristic resources，innovating ways of exhibitions，shows and their publicity，and expanding the influence of cultural tourism festivals.
