In 2019，the construction of public digital culture in Hubei has made remarkable achievements. The 106 public libraries at the provincial，municipal and county levels have completed the construction of public digital culture platforms and launched a number of mobile digital book service platforms. The construction of digital cultural centers has been steadily implemented，and many cultural libraries in the province have stable access to the national public culture “cloud”，and a considerable number of public cultural resources have been collected. The construction of digital culture in museums and art museums is also advancing steadily. However，there are also problems in the construction of public digital culture in Hubei，such as imperfect working mechanism，unbalanced development，low efficiency and incomplete access to resources. Therefore，it is necessary to take effective measures to change the mode of thinking，increase the investment in digital cultural infrastructure，speed up the integration of digital cultural resources in the whole province，collect the cultural resources of Jing-Chu characteristics to create literary and artistic works，focus on the construction of public culture cloud and coordinate the digital public culture services.
