The development of tourism industry in Hubei Province has achieved great results in 2018-2019，which benefits from the issue of a series of policies to promote the development of tourism planning，multi-channel publicity，holding large-scale investment promotion activities，carrying out tourism activities benefiting the people，developing new tourist attractions and projects，and rural tourism promotion and so on. And it shows the Hubei’s experience of the combination of advocacy and spotlight，“going out” and “bring in”，the combination of tourism development and cultural development，construction of hardware and software，development and utilization of tourism resources of combining tourism and rural poverty alleviation. However，certain problems remain in the exploitation of tourism resources in the Province，such as unbalanced regional development，weak influence of Hubei’s name cards，quality of scenic spots to be perfected，integration of culture and tourism to be strengthened，and weak growth of rural tourism. In order to deepen the development of rural tourism，further development is required to be carried out by continuing promoting the development of tourism in an all-inclusive way，advertising Hubei’s theme image of “Home to Wonders”，continuing to build high quality tourist attractions and explore ways of culture-tourism integration and of rural tourism upgrading.
