The state has issued a series of policy documents，which has established the development goal and direction for the world-class manufacturing cluster development in the Yangtze River Economic Belt. The relevant academic research mainly focuses on the connotation definition，selection criteria，outstanding problems and development path of the world-class manufacturing cluster in the Yangtze River economic belt. The follow-up research should further expand the dimension of development path and adhere to the new development concept to promote the development of world-class manufacturing clusters in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
