Since 2010,the demand for talents in the game industry has intensified. Although the social forces have relieved the pressure of talent demand to a certain extent,they cannot deliver high-end talents with high theoretical level and strong practical ability to the market. To solve the problem of talent demand,it has become the fundamental measure to set up game design major and game development technology major in higher education. This paper analyzes the course of training game professionals. And starting from the current situation of game major in Colleges and universities,it discusses the top-level design of the game professional talent training mode,curriculum system,and practical teaching system and so on. In addition,it constructs a professional construction mode in which the development of college game major depends on domestic large and medium-sized game companies. This mode is conducive to the development of school-enterprise cooperation and mutual benefit. And by this mode we can solve the problem of insufficient teachers for game higher education and discipline development.
