The conservation and sustainable utilization of cultural heritage is a significant way to shape the humanistic spirit in GBA. Collecting relevant statistics from new portals and government portals at all levels as well as related references on GBA，this research summarized the practices and experience on conservation and sustainable utilization of cultural heritage in GBA. It found that Guangdong，Hong Kong and Macao attach great importance to the protection and development of cultural heritage. However，the three places still implement relatively independent protection modes of cultural heritage under the legal order framework of “One Country，Two Systems and Three Legal Fields”. Each of them has its own applicable methods of cultural heritage protection and utilization. Therefore，Guangdong，Hong Kong and Macao should strengthen their communication and learn more from each other in the future. In addition，the three places should jointly commit to improving the inheritance and protection of cultural heritage through creating authority as well as strengthening cultural identity through cultural inheritance. At the same time，the vitality of cultural heritage should be enhanced through innovative utilization.
