This paper evaluates the tourism planning of Guangdong Province，Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions involved in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. We have adopted a set of evaluation framework with multiple indicators to compare and analyze the current tourism planning in these three regions. It is found that the nature and types of tourism planning in Guangdong Province，Hong Kong and Macao are different. Interestingly，the existing tourism plans of these three regions do not directly mention the coverage of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in 2015. This paper also evaluates the current tourism planning of the three places，and notes that most of the tourism planning of the three places adopts the policy of “promoting” or economic development for their respective tourism industries，while less emphasis is placed on the concept of sustainable development. The article also puts forward some suggestions on the future development of tourism planning in the three places.
