Based on the GBEE-CRAS 2020，60 CSR reports of construction companies are assessed and analyzed in this research with recommendations.

It is found that the overall report quality is declining，and the report quality of leading construction companies still keep ahead，and the report innovation is more prominent. The report structure is more complete，but disclosure of CSR strategy and governance need to be improved；the performance comparability is better than the overall level of companies in China and the comparability within the industry is greatly improved；being more internationalized，the target reports have better disclosure of overseas information，with more information on community and environmental information；the industry’s contribution has been highlighted. It is suggested that in future the reports should disclose social hot spots such as care for migrant workers to respond to social concerns；technological innovation should be highlighted to show the foresight of intelligent manufacturing and the construction of new types of infrastructure；the reporters should serve the national strategy to highlight the responsibility of the industry and disclose the information in their reports；the overseas information disclosure should be increased to enhance the international influence.
