The rapid development of VR （virtual reality） technology is bringing a great change in exhibition mode and artistic expression for modern museum. Based on the first practice of immersive interactive project in China National Film Museum，this paper tries to find the better way to apply virtual reality techniques in exhibition practice. To which play an important role in meeting the development needs of modern museum. “To tell a good story”，and to improve the interactive display effects of the museum，making the audience empathize，and creating immersive experience，delivering the Sound of China，as well as realizing the modern communication of Chinese film culture. Therefore，it is of great practical significance to explore VR techniques use in the exhibition and to promote the construction of wisdom museum.
