With a brand-new network architecture，5G opens a new era of extensive interconnection of everything and deep human-machine interaction. 5G cloud-based virtual reality is expected to accelerate the development of VR/AR technology and its implementation in various fields such as learning，entertainment，work，and life. After the virtual reality winter in 2017，through the combination of 5G，big data，cloud computing，ultra-high-definition video and other technologies，the experience of virtual reality equipment has been actively improved，and users’ recognition of virtual reality is also increasing. Since 2019，different sectors of the market，especially medical，education，entertainment and other industries，have continuously increased the demand for the virtual reality industry. At the same time，after the commercialization of 5G technology，virtual reality has become its first typical application，which allows VR to rapidly penetrate the mass market and vertical industries，realizes the popularization of mass VR applications，and promotes mass production and lifestyle changes.
