With the development of the integration of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei transportation and the increasing requirements for highway traffic capacity and level，the development of highway traffic in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has ushered in new challenges and development stages. Based on the perspective of the integrated and coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei，this paper sorts out the status quo of road traffic development in Beijing，Tianjin and Hebei，and conducts a systematic analysis of the impact of the Winter Olympics and highway interconnection services on road traffic. The scope of the comprehensive transportation survey for residents in all cities in Hebei is limited by the city boundaries. It is difficult to share data between governments，institutions and enterprises at all levels，and the structure of the regional transportation planning system is weak. In addition，this research looks forward to the application of 5G networks，Internet of Vehicles and other technologies in the development of intelligent transportation in Beijing，Tianjin and Hebei. The relevant conclusions and recommendations of this study can provide a theoretical basis for the management decision of relevant departments.
