Construction of Ecological civilization is a systematic project，which requires the cooperation of all regions. It also should focus on industries，especially in metropolitan area with rapid economic development. The construction of ecological civilization between metropolitan area and new industrial city is mutually synergistic. Metropolitan area plays an important role in optimizing and promoting the coordinated development of regions，and it is also an important way to promote regional linkage among regions to protect the environment. New industrial city，as a new development mode in the process of urbanization in China，is an indispensable key node in the construction of ecological civilization in the metropolitan area. At present，there are still some outstanding problems in the process of ecological civilization construction of new industrial cities in China. For example，there is a lack of collaborative governance mechanism between cities in the metropolitan area，and inadequate with laws and regulations of regional collaborative governance. In the future，we will focus on the establishment and improvement of systems for promoting ecological progress，and to actively construct a community of shared future for mankind.
