The high-quality urbanization is an intensive urbanization development path with low consumption，low pollution，high intelligence and high efficiency. The modern metropolitan area is an intensive and efficient advanced spatial form of urbanization evolved from the large cities and urban agglomerations. It is in the key position of connecting the preceding and the following in the urbanization system，and has the core function of supporting the high-quality development of urbanization. At present，we should speed up the cultivation and development of modern metropolitan area，so as to effectively accelerate the citizenization of agricultural transfer population and motivate the coordinated development of large，medium and small cities.
