The development of new infrastructure in science and technology，related to whether a country can occupy the commanding heights of the world’s scientific and technological development and economic development，has a very important strategic significance. As an economically developed region，In order to further accelerate industrial transformation and high-quality development，Jiangsu should combine the characteristics of new infrastructure and the actual situation of Jiangsu province，highlight the key points，make full use of advantages and avoid disadvantages，speed up the promotion，and strive for greater development space and opportunities. Based on the basic theory of new infrastructure to promote economic and social development and combining with Jiangsu’s current development situation，this paper expounds the development opportunities and challenges brought by the new infrastructure to Jiangsu from five aspects：first，urbanization，second，modern agriculture，third，industrial upgrading，fourth，enterprise transformation and fifth，efficient innovation and entrepreneurship platform. Try to build a more systematic and more complete practice frame of policy system，and discuss the development and improvement strategy of Jiangsu new infrastructure.
